Parking

A parked call is a special type of hold that can be picked up from another extension on your phone system (a call on hold can only be picked up from the current extension).

To park a call, while speaking with the other party, dial #700 and you will hear a three-digit number.  This number is the parking space where the other party is holding.

From any other extension, you can now dial that three digit number just like any other extension, and you will be connected with the party that was parked.

Some phones have a button programmed to Park.  On these phones, you can press this button instead of dialing #700.

Transfer

  1. While on a call, press the Transfer button (desk phones) or find Transfer in the menu (soft phone, cordless phones).
  2. Dial the extension or phone number that you wish to transfer to.  Don’t forget to hit SEND, OK, DIAL, etc.
  3. Speak with the person you dialed in step 2 if desired.  When ready to complete the transfer, press the Transfer button (or menu item) again.

Conference

  1. While on a call, press the Conference button (desk phones) or find Conference in the menu (soft phone, cordless phones).
  2. Dial the extension or phone number that you wish to conference into your call.  Don’t forget to hit SEND, OK, DIAL, etc.
  3. You are currently speaking only with the second party.  When you are ready to bring the conference together, press the Conference button again.

Voicemail

  • From any phone on your phone system, dial *99 or press the Voicemail button to access voicemail for that extension.
  • From outside your phone system, dial 315-326-1975 and when prompted for a mailbox, dial your primary phone number.  If you have multiple mailboxes in your phone system, you will then be prompted for a mailbox number.
  • Default mailbox passwords are the same as the extension number.  If only one mailbox, then the default password is 2000.  The system will not allow you to keep the default password (you will be prompted to change it and set up your mailbox if it is the default).
  • The voicemail system will store up to 150 messages before the mailbox is full. To free up space, you can delete messages after listening, or contact support@loyaltyforge.com to empty the mailbox entirely.
  • Voicemail can be configured to deliver by email, traditional mailbox (call in) or both.  Default is both if we have an email address.  To change this configuration, email support@loyaltyforge.com.
